Frisomat builds using a variety of systems. Drawing on our total range, there is an appropriate and fully-fledged answer available that meets all of the building regulations in force. Something that is always representative, regardless of the purpose and to suit everyone's budget. The design, production and finish of every hall depend on the application for which it is being used. For this purpose, Frisomat offers a wide range of frames, windows, domes, awnings, doors, portals and so on. Frisomat also has a wide range of insulation systems.

Steel hangars require no maintenance as such. The structure is erected from cold-rolled galvanised profiles made from top-quality steel. Curved and/or welded accessories and connector parts are carefully handled and countersunk.

Thinking in steel is one thing. Actually processing it into a design is quite another story. Frisomat hangars can tell just such a story. And have done for decades. Why? Because Frisomat is steel personified!

Production method

Steel of the highest quality is the starting point for every Frisomat structure. What makes our systems so unique is the way in which the material is used and processed. Coils of steel are cold-rolled into profiles that deliver maximum function with minimum weight. They are easy to work with, compact in terms of shipping volume and straightforward to assemble. All of which translates into a significant saving on building costs. Not only a lower cost price and shipping costs, but also less heavy tooling on the construction site. In fact, each and every element is moved using manpower.

Our motto has always been to manufacture from parts that we have in stock. The same thing applies to standardisation. This means that prefabricated parts are always finished for use at the factory. Always available for shipping and ready for direct assembly. Which explains why our hangars can be delivered, irrespective of the system selected, with extremely short lead times.

Assembly method

A Frisomat hangar is simple to assemble. All of the components – profiles, accessories and connector parts and sheeting plates - are screwed together during assembly. This process can be reversed. After dismantling, it is easy to transport the hall away to another location.

Frisomat is a recognized builder. Our assembly workers know buildings systems inside out. Their craftsmanship ensures fast, efficient and absolutely scrupulous assembly and erection. This is the responsibility that Frisomat takes upon itself and guarantees anywhere in Europe. For destinations outside Europe, Frisomat provides to a local builder building kits with construction manuals. Each building can be assembled with limited, simple tools and a basic crane. Each part can be moved by manpower.

Engineering office

An industrial hall starts life as a real and realistic design that is customized by our own design department. Using 3D technology, this design is transformed into detailed building and working drawings. In turn, the drawings form the contents for a large-scale box of building blocks. Each element has a precise, carefully calculated and fixed price. Each part is then manufactured in-house using our own state-of-the-art technology.

Besides, all our constructions need to be calculated to meet with local standards. In construction, Europe has many different zones and regulations. E.g. Frisomat owns a “Typenprüfung” to build in Germany.

Each part is then manufactured in-house using our own state-of-the-art technology. Rolled, curved to shape, sawn, cut, punched, finished, packed and ready for shipping. Each detail is monitored and checked at every stage of the way. By people and by inspection equipment. Finally, assembly and erection take place on site. This is where the parts from the box of building blocks are brought together into the structure that the thinkers - client and designers - had in mind. Often more, never less.
